Compendium of Curiosities III-Pocket Pages

Time again for the Compendium of Curiosities III over at Linda's.  Go look at all the cool things the Curiosity Crew created for this challenge. Truly awe inspiring! We are, as always, based on the book by Tim Holtz. Tim and Mario will be sending a huge box of IdeaOlogy goodness to one lucky player. And our sponsor, The Funky Junkie is providing a $25 gift card to someone.

These are some pages that I created at Paula Cheney's class at Whim So Doodle in St Pete, FL earlier in December. I've not had time to finish any of them, but I did manage to get them in the book!

Compendium of Curiosities-Woodlands and Tinsel Twine

It's time once again for the CofCIII Challenge on Linda's blog.  This go-round, our sponsor is The Inspiration Emporium and one lucky player will receive a $50 gift card. As always, we are working out of the book by Tim Holtz and you can get your own copy just by following the link. Tim and Mario will choose a winner to receive a fantastic prize from them. And the Curiosity Crew will also choose a winner. Winners all over the place!

This time we are working on page 60 of the book. Without giving away the trade secrets, I decided to do a burlap panel for this challenge. I also used one of the Found Relatives cards and cut the two boys apart. Mom had just finished hanging the wreath on the front door and wanted to take a picture before the boys went back to their sledding! You can see how thrilled they were to take time out from their playing to make mom happy. And what's that old saying about if Mom's not happy, nobody's happy?! Lots of truth there!!

Tim is closing out 2014 with a fabulous tag. Of course I don't have all of the things he used, so I improvised!

I did the background as Tim did, then went marching off to the beat of my own drummer! I used his fabulous Halftone Christmas stamp set. LOVE the vintage-y feel of this set! The snowman alone is worth the price of admission! Then there's a Santa, a tree and a snowflake in the set.
